Kawata Teepa & 'Ngā Kī' at the IBBY International Congress 2016

Last week the 35th IBBY Congress was held in Auckland, celebrating the amazing range of worldwide books available for young people. Every year they compile an honours list, and this year, 'Ngā Kī' was on it!

Here is Kawata Teepa, the very talented translator of 'Ngā Kī', surrounded by other great books in languages from all around the world!

We are so proud of Kawata and 'Ngā Kī'!

Storylines Family Days

We had the BEST time at the Storylines Family Days in the weekend!! Saturday was spent at the Mangare Arts Centre in South Auckland and Sunday at the Aotea Centre in Central Auckland. Here´s a bunch of photos of us making cats and keys with the kids. But we did HEAPS more stuff too!! Was so much fun hanging with the kids and families - if anyone ever has the chance to go to a Storylines Family Day make sure you do - we totally recommend it (:
